Is it 100% organic and natural hair dye?

Yes, Cultivator's hair dye is 100% organic and free of chemical ingredients. Our herbal hair dyes contain only 100% natural coloring and conditioning ingredients. It is a purely plant-based hair dye. Cultivator Organic Hair Dye combines Ayurvedic goodness with innovation. A completely unique blend of organic herbs that naturally color your hair. It contains natural coloring pigment precursors and nutrients that give hair the desired shade, shine and nourishment.

How do I know this product is FFL?

Cultivator's hair dye is FFL certified. This can be checked on the official FFL website.

How long will the color last?

Usually, the color lasts up to 15-20 washes, but it also depends on the frequency of hair washing. In addition, if you use other chemical-based products before and after our hair dyes, then they will last for a shorter time. After regular use, you will get the desired shades and they will last up to 15-20 washes.

Will it cover all my gray hair at once?

Under ideal conditions, it will cover more than 99% of gray hair. Since this is a botanically activated, bleach-free formulation, previous harmful chemical products may affect coverage and shade during the first few treatments.

What ingredients are used?

Each hair color has a different combination of several ingredients. Some of the commonly used ingredients are:

Indigofera tinctoria (Indigo) powder, Emblica officinalis (Amla) powder, Lawsonia inermis (Henna) powder, Ziziphus spina-Christi (Ziziphus) powder, Eucalyptus globulus (Eucalyptus) powder, Aloe barbadensis (Aloe Vera) powder, Curcuma longa (Turmeric) powder, Matricaria recutita (Chamomile) powder.

Do you need a strand test?

Yes, because it helps to determine the duration and color result. The resulting hair color is difficult to standardize and predict, as the color is provided by the natural color pigment found in plants. It also varies depending on the texture and condition of a person's hair, which depends on their lifestyle habits and the general hair care practices that a person uses. To better predict the color result, wait 24-48 hours after using Cultivator's Organic Herbal Hair Color. Please note that the color may darken during this period. If the result does not satisfy you, choose a shorter / longer exposure time.

I did the patch test once, do I need to do it every time?

Cultivator's Organic Herbal Hair Color is 100% organic, chemical free and safe to use. However, some people are allergic to certain parts of the plant, so a patch test is always recommended before use. Please follow the PATCH TEST DIRECTIONS on the package

I am allergic to chemical hair dyes, how can Cultivator's Organic Hair Color help me?

Cultivator's Organic Herbal Hair Dye is dermatologically tested and completely safe to use, but a small patch test is required before using the product. Ayurveda describes that each person is different, so their body reacts differently to the same product.

What does herbal hair dye mean?

This means that all the ingredients are from plants or parts of plants, making it 100% organic and plant-based hair dye.

If you are pregnant/nursing a baby; is it safe to use?

Answer: Yes, it is 100% organic vegetable hair dye, so it is safer to use because it does not contain AMMONIA, PPD, PEROXIDES and ANY CHEMICALS.

Are there any other ingredients (eg egg or cottage cheese) that can be mixed with the hair dye?

We advise you not to add anything other than warm water. Any other ingredient you may add will interfere and prevent the natural color from coming out on the hair.

I have chemically treated and/or bleached my hair in the past. Is it still possible to use Cultivator's hair color?

We recommend that you avoid using organic hair dye immediately after chemical bleaching or chemical hair treatment. The two colors are opposite in nature and may change the shade or not produce the desired results. If your hair has been dyed/dyed chemically, leave your hair for at least 5-6 weeks before using Cultivator's Herbal Hair Dye for best results.

My natural hair shade is dark, can I use a lighter shade, will it work?

It is impossible to lighten the hair with herbal hair dyes because they do not contain bleaching agents.
