Palo Santo (Bursera graveolens) means "Sacred Wood" and is a wild tree that grows in the Ecuadorian and Peruvian Amazon rainforest. It belongs to the same family as copal, myrrh and frankinsence. Its wood, leaves and oils have been used for thousands of years by indigenous shamans to heal the body and soul, cleanse spaces, remove negative energies and prepare for meditation.
