Fenugreek (methi) - Trigonella fenumgraecum - belongs to the legume family. It is a favourite Indian plant. Its square-shaped, brownish-beige seeds are indispensable in many vegetable dishes and snacks.
The seeds of fenugreek, together with the leaves of the eponymous plant, are key ingredients in Indian cuisine. The seeds, also known as methi, have a slightly bitter and very aromatic taste. TRS Mehti fenugreek seeds can be ground and added directly to food. Use the aromatic seeds in chicken masalas, curries with potatoes and spinach and chana masala (a vegetable dish with chickpeas).
